Brian Danitz is a filmmaker and editor who co-produced Design Outlaws on the Ecological Frontier (1999) with Christopher Zelov and Phil Cousineau. The book gathered interviews with over twenty leading designers and architects from their award-winning documentary film Ecological Design: Inventing the Future, presenting a far-reaching, lavishly illustrated collection aimed at both professionals and the general reader. The project situated ecological design as a coherent movement with deep roots in the comprehensive, anticipatory design thinking that R. Buckminster Fuller had pioneered.
