Sam Green
American documentary filmmaker (b. 1966), pioneer of the "live documentary" form.
Sam Green is an Academy Award-nominated American documentary filmmaker, best known for The Weather Underground (2002). In later work he developed the "live documentary" — a performance in which he narrates on stage in real time while musicians play a live score to accompanying film, so that each screening is a unique event rather than a fixed recording.
