Sidney Rosen

Author of Wizard of the Dome: R. Buckminster Fuller, Designer for the Future (1969), a narrative biography written to introduce Fuller to younger readers.

Rosen wrote accessible biographies of scientists and inventors. Wizard of the Dome tells Fuller's story — from a New England childhood through Harvard expulsions, personal tragedy, the 1927 decision to live on his own terms, and the Dymaxion inventions to the geodesic dome — as a coherent tale of a self-taught "designer for the future" guided by doing the most with the least.
