Claude Lichtenstein is a Swiss design historian, curator, and author who works in the fields of architecture and design history. Relationship to Fuller
Relationship: chronicler. Lichtenstein co-edited the paired volumes Your Private Sky: R. Buckminster Fuller — The Art of Design Science and Your Private Sky: R. Buckminster Fuller — Discourse, which gathered and contextualized the work of R. Buckminster Fuller. The Discourse volume in particular presents Fuller's own texts — among them early programmatic manuscripts such as Lightful Houses (1928) and the Dymaxion House lecture — alongside photographs from Fuller's estate, offering a documentary insight into the development of his architectonic, technical, and anthropological concepts. As editor rather than collaborator, Lichtenstein belongs among the scholars who preserved and framed Fuller's legacy for later readers.
