Jeannie Moberly
Philadelphia-based artist whose paintings, videos, embroideries, and inflatable works engage geometry and comprehensivity, and who was a longtime participant in the Synergetics Collaborative.
Moberly's practice ranges across media — painting, video retellings of Dante and folk tales, "florilegium" and landscape series, costumes and embroideries — with recurring geometric and ecological themes. Her one-person show The Comprehensivist signals the through-line: an artist thinking in Fuller's comprehensivist, whole-systems key. She was active in the Synergetics Collaborative from 2002 to 2018.
Role in Fuller's orbit
Moberly represents the living synergetics-art community that keeps Fuller's geometry in creative circulation. Her long membership in the Synergetics Collaborative (the group around CJ Fearnley that studies and applies Fuller's synergetics) places her among contemporary practitioners extending Fuller's ideas into art. The source is her artist homepage; no other corpus work currently links to her.
