Nine Chains to the Moon

40 The Nine ‘‘Chains’’

Chapter 40
The Nine ‘‘Chains’’

2In full consideration of the working of teleology as recited in Chapter 6, wherein it was seen that a cursory knowledge of a house or man which the house shelters is all that the average person sustains of these extraordinary mechanisms abstractly controlled by the phantom captain; and

3 In consideration of our observation of earth’s tiny position in the sensorial universe and of man’s tiny physical position on the earth’s crust; and

4 In consideration of the fact that the amplification of the MAN phenomenon is not only directly resultant from star energy, but that the variegation of species is due to the cosmic ray ‘‘hits’’ (Hit me with a cosmic ray, darling); and

5 Considering that all physical phenomena are now becoming reducible to a specific radiation study, and

6 Whereas the scientific study of radiation is apparently unlocking the door at least to the secret of physical life, if not in due course to that of universal mind as well; and

7 Whereas radiation studies make possible accurate event prediction just as one may scientifically predict, on throwing a stone into the water, the exact time and general characteristics of impact-anddegree-of-agitation of a floating cork caused by the radiant waves in turn caused by the plunging stone; and

8 In consideration of the contribution to the study of radiation and the degree of its scientific authority by the currently most eminent mathematician, Mr. Einstein, and his thoughtful nomination of LONGING and FEAR as the two primary motivating forces of human activity in the bi-polar world; and

9 In consideration of our tracery of the effects of longing and fear, the longing into a general inspiriting of the creative and talented types of artist, the abstractionists, the scientists, and teleologic philosophers in general, and fear into the contracting and ‘‘conserving’’ of the materially minded, either driver or driven; and

10 In consideration of our tracery of these motivating forces and their results through the history of their patronage:

11 Firstly by a SINGULAR GOD OF DEATH.

12 Secondly by a PLURALITY OF GODS OF DEATH.

13 Thirdly by a SINGLE BUT SELFISH IDIOSYNCRATIC PATRONAGE OF LIFE.

14 Fourthly by LIFE, but by a SOPHISTICATED MYSTICAL ACADEMIC LIFE PLURALITY, in the midst of the illusion and confusion of the religious racket which had retrogressed to the point of gangstering inquisition, in counterpart of which American gangdom’s shootings and ‘‘rides’’ have been a nursery game.

15 Fifthly by INDUSTRIAL MANAGERS who POPULARLY reproduced the artist-scientists original creation, which service (the artist’s) to the people was intercepted and exploited by the old feudalist, which might be called patronage by the PETIT BOURGEOIS.

16 Sixthly by the INDUSTRIAL-AGRARIAN TRANSCENDENTALISTS following the escape of longing to the newly discovered continent of America.

17 Seventhly by SOCIALIZED EDUCATION, inaugurated in the new continent and fortunately overlooked when the high productivity of the longing extraction to the new continent called forth the hounds of feudalism on the scent of profit, wherefore, during this era, the patron of the arts was not only popular but specifically POPULAR IN THE REALM OF YOUTH.

18 Eighthly by POPULAR LIFE, which has finally attained the dawning of its greatest age (the diametric pole from the original single selfish death), that is, PATRONAGE BY POPULAR NEW LIFE ITSELF: AND BY ANTICIPATED POPULAR LIFE.

19 Ninthly, science and art have come to realize the necessity of serving not only the NEW life from birth, but that new life PRENATALLY, because the future of mankind is wrapped up in attention to the phenomenon of first entry.

20 NOW, THEREFORE, the house designed as an utterly prosaic scientific mechanical agglomeration for the protection, maintenance and abetment of life (as is the human machine in relation to mind, the house being an extension of the human mechanism) is typical architecture of the ninth era of the patronage of art and science, the ninth ‘‘chain’’ to the moon, in view of which no tailored house, no matter how superficially modernistic it may appear to be, may be said to belong to the ninth era of science and art.

21 In further consideration of the findings of a study of the ABSTRACT monopolies and of the sovereignty hoax, speculation, credit, measurements, standards and patents; and

22 In consideration of the current balance sheet of people in a DEBT ACCOUNTING SYSTEM providing the most startling paradoxes of all times at the dawn of the ninth era; and

23 In consideration of the esoteric ineffectiveness of the Yogi ruminant cults, the Yogi representing the high point of mental attainment of all time, confined, however, within a selfish esthetic cult, the potential popular usefulness of which was conceived by Christ and longingly demonstrated by Him but in so personally mystical a manner as to allow a mystical and therefore by-the-priesthood- bullying religious establishment directly defeating the original conception; and

24 In consideration of the MIND-OVER-MATTER-CONCEPTION as being carried out in a CONTINUOUS EVOLUTION behind the scenes by the undramatic philosophers who rationalized into a mathematical means all the miracles of the mysteries that they might be scientifically employed and non-mystically discussed by the industrious until 9-hour flights across the United States at altitudes of 5 miles above the earth have resulted as a direct objective. MIND-OVERMATTER RATIONALIZATION EVOLUTION ATTAINMENT

25 which, although the thought source is identical, makes Yogi levitation demonstrations picayune and stupid; and

26 Realizing that Yogi is limited to realization in the measurements and discourse of the PERSONAL SENSORIAL world, whereas the ninth era of science and art is wedded to dimensional realization in ALL the spheres of non-sensorial energy radiation; and

27 Subscribing to the teleologic principle of attack, that is, of saying (after first AWARENESS of a problem), ‘‘I don’t know much of anything about this awareness, but what DO I know? I know only ABSTRACT PRINCIPLES, one of which is that I must be inclusive of all the experience and thought to which I have been exposed, if I wish teleologically to produce a result satisfactory to my ideal of DOING THE MOST WITH THE LEAST’’; and

28 Having set down, so far, as inclusive a general recital as possible (within the space and time available, consistent with doing the most with the least) of the dominant physical characteristics of the radiating universe and of the behavior pattern of man (the machine captained by the phantom universal mind) in conquest of its environment in the physical universe; and

29 Having found a ‘‘NOW’’ trial balance to reveal a current paradox between possibility and statistics.

30 It is nonetheless apparent that we have not yet penetrated deeply or included widely enough, in our recital, to make crystal-clear not only the trends involved, but, also, the OBJECTIVE MECHANICS and MENTAL PROCESS MEANS INHERENT IN THE TRENDS which the teleologic designer may, through his own THOUGHTFUL conjecture, ascertain to be the most important subjects of his every day, and all day, working consideration. Until the teleologists’ successful completion and synchronization, in a timely way, with people’s doing and rationalizing, shall make these objectivized mechanisms, processes and power harnessing the means of a continuity of harmonial integrity in life, the ninth era of science and art will not blossom,

31 THEREFORE to abet the conception of our end objective, a dramatic episode will be recited, involving Mr. Jones (Mr. and Mrs. Murphy’s nephew), an amateur hyper-short wave radio expert, and a lovely young lady from XK-planet.
