RESOLVED TO RESOLVE
2After our scientists had completed the bible as a rational abstract, ‘THE GAME OF LIFE,’ in explanation of duality delusion, vie evolved our resolution,"continued the X-ian, ‘‘which represented a mutually agreeable method and process, for eliminating the fabric of delusion from our populace.
3 ‘‘This fabric had been traditionally woven in the days of self-and-others kidding through mutual intercourse guided solely by the SURFACES of things and events. Easy perversions, through misinterpretation, of surface clues for the purpose of deceiving others-and-self into following down blind alleys intent on rape, occurred because HAPPY-CHANCE-INTERCOURSE in the scheme of surface deceits, was so rare as to necessitate such rapine.’’
4 ‘‘That is interesting,’’ said Jones. ‘‘RESOLUTION, I now see, is a with time synchronous word and is to be contrasted to our static word ‘CONSTITUTION,’ which is a statement of how we stand supposedly STILL together. CONSTITUTION is apparently a fear-bom word connoting a DEFENSE FORMATION, the hollow square.’’
5 ‘‘That’s right,’’ said the X-ian. ‘‘You ARE catching on readily.’’
6 ‘‘Do you think,’’ asked Jones, ‘‘that you could outline your resolution in the fewest words possible?’’
7 ‘‘Certainly,’’ said the X-ian. ‘‘Not only can I outline it, but I can recite it to you precisely, for it is so logical that it’s recitation, rather than a learned-by-rote formula, is a naturally specific description of a scientifically effective process. ’’

9 THE X-IAN RESOLUTION
10 RESOLVED to solve age-long problems NOW in terms of self instead of egotistically blaming primary cause on some other thing or being, simply saying to ourselves:
11 ‘‘SELF! YOU CAN ONLY BE HURT IF, WHERE, and WHEN YOU ARE VULNERABLE.
12 ‘‘The only lie is to yourself. ARBITRARY NON-INCLUSION, WARPAGE, ASSUMPTION, or NON-FOLLOW-THROUGH within self of that which the universal mind sees fit to reveal or expose to, or in you is recognizable by others, if articulated to them, not as a lie, but only as intuitively to be disregarded tactically unreliable noise, reductive of your popular credit potential and, consequently your usefulness to others.
13 ‘‘For you can think consciously only in terms of experience; wherefore, somewhere in your experience if you do not lie, MAY BE FOUND not only the VULNERABILITY OF SELF, but the VULNERABILITY of ALL OTHERS in relation to the SPECIFIC HURT INVOLVED, with a key to the locking of the particular fatal port against further hurt, not only of self, but of ALL SELVES, FOREVER.
14 ‘‘In this connection there is a fascinating thought correlation between the words ‘blessed’ and ‘blessee.’ There is in the last analysis NO PRIVILEGE SO GREAT AS THAT AFFORDED BY HURT, IF we are only able to unself ourselves (quae nocent docent—that which injures instructs).’’
15 How unself self,—granting that IF unselfed thought alone would remain as potentially all-effective?
16 There is no formula. It has been found by re-search, however, that the initiation of thought solutions, or moment of first traceable awareness of any specific thought-enabling solution of a problem long attempted, was coincident with the thorough and spontaneous concentrated attention of the self mechanism of the problems of another ‘‘personality’’ mechanism. When completely preoccupied by the problems of the OTHER personality, the SELF personality AUTOMATICALLY, unselfed self,—that is, THOUGHT of the universal mind, which is UNDERstanding, separated from the SELF MECHANISM.
17 While so preoccupied it counsels the attended personality, in the matter of solution of the attended personality’s problem, and probably WELL, by virtue of its greater DESELFED and therefore UNIVERSAL perspective.
18 It has been found to have HAPPENED that the attending personality has quite unconsciously voiced the solution of problems, not only for the attended personality, but ALSO for the self personality hitherto long and ineffectually attacked. In the nature of HAPPENINGS, the attending personality, being preoccupied with another self, is serenely UNAWARE that it HAS VOICED the SOLUTION of its OWN PROBLEM.
19 Subsequently, the attending personality becomes aware of the fact that it HAS already taken a hurdle in DEED; that is, it has actually written, fabricated or articulated, in some manner or other, that which it had, at an earlier period, found impossible to do.
20 It is only with the most persistent research that it is possible to trace the IN-VENTION of solution to the moment of de-selfing attention to another self.
21 Why is this not a formula?
22 Because one cannot arbitrarily seek others in trouble, and arbitrarily occupy oneself with the other in trouble purposely to gain a solution of one’s own problem. No, the gist is that this represents a SUBSEQUENT observation of the course of events. This is the WAY in which it HAPPENS, but, mind you, it HAPPENS. (Qui docet discit—he who instructs learns.)
23 It has also been found by experience that those who are not dominated by self-concern, that is, by fear of interruption of an habitually reliable pattern of self survival, and willingly expose, or give away, the fruit of their think-ing, have no sooner completely separated themselves from the fruit of their thought, by such gift or exposure, than the vacuum in self thereby developed causes the inrush of two or more abler thoughts. The characteristic of unfettered in-vention is a geometrical progression.
24 WHEREFORE, be it RESOLVED: To resolve every universallyconsiderate wish-evoking critical-concept into a reasonably-efficacious resistance-eliminating inanimate-device of time-saving-calculability and contiguous-service time-synchronization, that may be factorable from ‘‘possibility’’ to ‘‘probability,’’ thus intent to streamline mans competitive-volition, unbeknowns to him, INto a scientifically designed direction-of-least-resistance, upon the OCCASION of his each and every INITTAL-DISLODGEMENT from HABIT-INERTIA; the dislodgement being THE unit-chance-contact-factor of the infinite-unknown of the uni-verse; which, in its PROGRESSIVE relativistic-cognition, adjusts to the intellect through illusionvanishment’s comparative-vacuums.

28 Emergent, the COMPETITIVE-URGE must COMPOUND its credit out of the ‘‘NEW’’ rather than by EXTRACTION from the ‘‘OLD,’’ and therefore through UNEXPERIENCED, or UNSELF- CALCULATIVE, expedition of universal-inter-service.
29 This will establish a ‘‘you-and-me’’ infinity-of-survival-and-growth, rather than an exception-discredited, statistically-predicated, selfdevastating, credit-destructive, and contemporarily-demonstrated INADEQUACY of the ‘‘you-or-me’’ dogma of the—‘‘survival-of- the-fittest’’—religion, of the now-dying fear-motivated social-finity.

31 RESOLVED that: EVOLUTION is the high-frequency alternating process, ABSTRACTLY, animately and inanimately, of INCLUSION and REFINEMENT.
32 EVOLUTION may be ABSTRACTLY ANTICIPATED and SYNCHRONIZINGLY CAPTURED by the animate-artificer’s PROGRESS-BY-CREATION; or, the abstractly-anticipatableevolution may PROCRASTINATINGLY BE SURRENDERED TO inanimate-dynamics’ PROGRESS-BY DESTRUCTION (EROSION and CATACLYSM).

35 These inevitable-growth alternates are the direction-in or direction- out coincidents of GRAVITATION and RADIATION:—pull and push, tension and compression, suction and pressure, flexible and inflexible, female and male, attraction and propulsion, minus and plus, new and old, innate-harmony and artificial-glamour, knowledge and vanity;

40 RESOLVED to accomplish the final bridging from PURE PHILOSOPHY to BREAD-and-BUTTER-GROWTH-HAPPINESS through the expediency of the successive steps of the language of the tri- gonometrician, the geo-metrician, the bi-o-logician, and thence by mechanics to the man continuity.
41 ‘‘Having completed our RESOLUTION in this scientific manner,’’ the X-ian continued, ‘‘we made a few actual tests of its efficacy by exposing ADVANCED, COMMUNALLY SCALED INSTRUMENTS to the populace and by leaving these instruments in unattended evidence.

53 ‘‘Because of these tactics of the stupid or shrewd few, it was evident,’’ said the X-ian, ‘‘that we had silently to ARTICULATE the RESOLUTION in all manner of mechanisms, instruments and processes in an assumptive stage of advance beyond the imaginative realm of the exploiters, so complete in scope as to enclose anticipatingly the then current-sphere of conscious-activity, which expanded slowly and hesitantly, primarily by chance, in the humpty-dumpty-world of surface-make-believe.
54 ‘‘This was a cinch to do, so meager a sphere of realization did the make-be-lieve world then represent.
55 ‘‘The only precaution that we had to take was to time the articulation of the resolution in its determination of the specific state of advance of the mechanisms and processes, in such a manner that the radiant-measure-of-time, between the surface of the humptydumptily-expanding-sphere and that of the-sphere-of-inclusion, which we were fabricating, should be a greater time-interval than our careful determination had revealed to-be-required for the actual performance-of-fabrication of the complete and harmoniouslyinter-related-sphere-of-mechanisms which we had for this stated purpose resolved to design.’’
56 ‘‘What a wow of an idea,’’ said Jones. ‘‘Of course, the enclosed sphere, inevitably expanding through chance, had eventually to expand like the bladder of a basketball into closely adherent control by your scientifically evolved ‘realities’ sphere, which latter, however, representing a MECHANISM and PROCESS was quite unlike that of the expansively limited inanimate basketball pigskin enclosure (that is, inanimate after the skin had been segregated from the pig mechanism, as a part of which it had been an expansive mechanism and process itself); thus your enclosing sphere, within which error and chance were captively enclosed, could be set in operation by you at the will of your abstract selective mind, at an objectively determined moment and at a decreed rate of expansion, until finally the original confusion bladder, stretched to its elastic limit, disintegrated by failure. However, in the meantime your people, riding outward in all directions upon the interior illusion bladders surface, were so adhesively impressed by its expansion contact pressure against your designed and controllable inanimate mechanism enclosure that willy nilly they were grafted onto the latter and carried outward in its scientifically synchronized expansion, quite happily divested of their exploded former bladder of illusion.’’
57 ‘‘Boy, oh boy,’’ said the X-ian, ‘‘you certainly do follow me. That’s just what happened. You may be interested to hear a typical exclamatory remark of the illusion-divested people.’’
58 ‘‘Do you know,’’ said Jones, with an eagerness of interruption that the lovely lady from XK smilingly accepted, ‘‘I am so thrilled myself at realization of all that you have communicated to me that, if I were to make a thoughtful statement of my own to you, as spontaneously provoked at this very minute, I rather think that it would not be dissimilar to the exclamatory remarks of your X-ians as their heads were emerging through the surface of the universe of reality, extruded, as it were, through the mesh-of-rationalization by the time radiant pressure of their own sphere of illusion.’’
59 ‘‘All right, let’s hear it,’’ said the X-ian.
